'Twas the year-end for builders, and all through the land,
Deals and ambitions went hand in hand.
From Daiwa to Dream Finders, from Weekley to Onx,
The homebuilding saga was aglow on all fronts.

Daiwa House, bold, kept expanding its sprawl,
While Sekisui’s MDC merger stood tall.
Land was the prize, scarce and hot to the touch,
And prices climbed higher, sometimes too much.

The year was ablaze, like chimneyed rooftops with lights,
But the market stayed chilly, and rates held tight.
Builders and buyers danced a slow waltz,
Navigating land deals and M&A vaults.

Lennar spun lots like gold out of hay,
With Millrose’s far-reaching light, they paved the way.
Onx rose up, a phoenix in steel,
And the Jones Co.’s fate found CastleRock’s seal.

Avila’s crystal ball foretold combos bright,
“Deals are aflowing, buckle-up, hold on tight.”
Publics raced for local scale,
While privates fought the buyer’s gale.

Through storms of insurance and rising costs,
Builders dug deep, weighing gains and loss.
In Nashville’s hum, Ted Terry pressed,
Proving grit and dirt are what matter best.

But beyond the deals and rising ground,
The heart of the trade beats all around.
In every beam and poured foundation,
It’s people who shape the nation’s creation.

Leaders who lift, and teams that stand tall,
Through setbacks and surges, they answer the call.
From jobsite to boardroom, hands intertwine,
Where courage and character steadily shine.

John Johnson’s Weekley farewell filled the air,
A leader who built with heart, soul, and care.
Weekley’s third act now takes the stage,
Doubling down as they turn the page.

In mud-caked boots and weathered gloves,
Front-liners craft what this nation loves.
Their sweat and skill, their tireless might,
Frame futures that stretch deep into the night.

Land? It’s scarce, but still the key,
As private builders brace for M&A spree.
With each new home complete, new futures shine,
And 2025’s path begins to align.

Through concrete walls and timbered frames,
Builders chase legacy more than fame.
For homes aren't just made of nails and wood,
They're shelters of hope, where dreams ever stood.

So as the frost drapes rooftops bright,
Let’s toast to the builders in winter’s light.
To the vision, grit, and hands that create,
A new year stands tall at the front gate.

Happy Holidays to all who build, dream, and dare!
